UK GAAP

UK GAAP is now represented by FRS 100, 101, 102, 103, 104 and 105 and the Companies Act 2006. These new standards are having a significant impact on many UK companies, small and large, and it is vital that preparers of financial statements, their advisers and the users of financial statements are fully aware of the detailed changes and their impact.

We have a reputation for delivering highly effective UK GAAP training programmes to a wide range of different clients to help participants keep their skills and knowledge up to date. These programmes range from bespoke training workshops for individual organisations, public seminars for accountants in practice and industry, through to presentations at larger conferences.

Recent UK GAAP workshops include:

  • Understanding FRS 102
  • The changing face of accounts for small and micro-entities
  • Practical reporting issues under UK GAAP
  • Changes to the Companies Act 2006
  • Accounting for LLPs
  • Understanding the pro’s and con’s of the different accounting frameworks

Our clients include:

  • Construction companies
  • Financial services companies
  • Financial services regulators
  • International firms of accountants
  • Local and national firms of accountants
  • Manufacturing companies
  • Support service companies
  • Professional services companies and LLPs
  • Public seminars and conferences attended by accountants and directors of private and listed companies

Most of our UK GAAP training programmes are run for individual clients so that the course content can be tailored to meet the specific business and personal needs of those people attending. By concentrating on real business issues, and by providing a consistent message to all team members at the same time, our training will be more effective in helping to deliver improved performance.
